Facilities — Cavendish Conference Centre
With up to 9 meeting rooms available in the Centre, there should be something to suit every conference organisers needs, we hope!
The Superb Auditorium has tiered classroom seating for up to 232 people and a stage area allowing 2 to 20 speakers at any one time. When refurbishing the Centre, we used nearly 5000 miles of cabling in order to bring the latest conference technology to the Cavendish and make your job (and ours!) so much easier. We have an audio-visual technicians booth exclusively for the control of all sound and visual effects in the Auditorium and we have dual lecterns for finger tip controls of all presentations.
The Whittington Suite compliments the Auditorium for refreshment breaks, luncheons and acts as an exhibition area. We have newly installed flexible partitioning so we can break The Whittington into four syndicate rooms or use it solely as one meeting room.
The Portland, our vault room, with a superb feature ceiling, natural daylight and its own air conditioning, is capable of seating up to 50 persons in a theatre style arrangement.
The Harley has a capacity for up to 30 persons in theatre style seating, and our Boardroom can accommodate 8 guests. In addition, the Green Room is always available to conference organisers using the Auditorium for briefing sessions with staff or speakers alike.
We think our venues are truly ideal for Central London Meetings, product launches, Conferences and AGMs, but don’t just take our word for it, come and find out for yourself!
Recently the Cavendish has been awarded a prestigious Green mark award, the only U.K. meeting venue to have received this recognition. We are not sitting back on our laurels, by the end of the year we aim to be the only landfill neutral conference centre in London.

Technical Specification for Audio – Visual at the Cavendish Conference Centre
Our main Auditorium is complete with an audio system including induction loop to all areas and with a fully equipped technicians control booth for superb sound, radio microphones, and various audio and MP3 recording facilities are all close at hand.
The Cavendish Conference Centre has an in-house audio visual department at your disposal with a wide range of audio visual aids for your events with us. The entire venue is covered by a wireless LAN for Internet access.
We boast over 7000 lumen data projection along with two side satellite projectors for logo placement, branding and presentation displays. A computer installed within the control booth allows presentation operation from either stage or control booth or both, as well as a wireless presentation controller allowing speakers to freely roam on stage when fitted with a radio lapel microphone. The visual fold back comfort monitors on the stage and the lecturn position, enable speakers to view their presentation as they deliver it to the audience. Of course, you are welcome to bring along your own laptop to connect into our system if you wish!
You will receive the services of our technician to ensure the smooth running of your AV throughout your event with us. We cater for microphone management & audience response systems, a wide range of video playback formats and standards. Video conferences between The Cavendish Conference Centre and worldwide destinations is possible in all our rooms, should the need arise.
